I just got off a phone call with AT&T tech support. My AT&T line had been SUPENDED. The 4G/5G system had been updated and the network may enforce a rule that for some phone models [including OnpePlus5] it are now 'incompatible' with the 4G network IF UNLOCKED [rooted]. He restored my line simply warned that a system break could come once again at any time, as information technology was coded in to the network.

Gauge I may have to finally larn how to restore it to locked state f I want to go along using it a my backup phone.

Would disabling 5G eliminate the issue?

Spent time on a like question. Said that even if I were blocked from 4G the phone has 3G .. and dusk for that is February 2022. The Tech did not call up I'd be left alone. Made it seem IMEI indicating oneplus 5 with unlocked would become me suspended. Just it's my simply current handset. I in the postal service only not in paw.

Try talking to the Client Loyalty Dept ie Memory Dept. I've beaten AT&T into submission more and then once... one time I get going I go to town.
Contact your state chaser general's office as AT&T may exist violating state law by requiring you not to root.
Read your original contact every bit well.

This employ to the phones sold past atandt merely? If thats the example you lot can utilize an unlocked free phone and solved!
Simply if employ to all phones on their network I would ship them to hell for violating my rights.

Had the same issue when switching sim card back to OnePlus 5t . . . U tin try contacting customer support and explaining ur issue , mine said he added a different IMEI to continue it working .
